CHECK OUT THE DOGWATCH CIGAR CLUB

Dogwatch is a nautical term that refers to the two, 2-hour shipboard watches that occur between 4 pm and 8 pm. The watch was split into two hour segments so that the crew could enjoy their dinner. For us, it is a transition period between work and home, a time of reflection and relaxation.

The DogWatch Social Club is an oasis where good friends enjoy fine cigars, thoughtful conversation and considered opinions flavored with the occasional touch of insanity all the while enjoying fine cigars. We are 100% cigar oriented! We cover news and social events of interest to the cigar industry and cigar smokers.

We hope you will enjoy listening to DogWatch CIgar Radio while relaxing and enjoying a fine cigar. Our DogWatch Cigar Radio herfcast is published weekly for your enjoyment.

Check out episode 27 that features us.

You've heard us discuss this with Colin Ganley, now here it is for you to use! The Independant Cigar Rating System developed by Colin is a great methodology for reviewing a cigar. The Cigar Evaluation sheet is provided for your use. Please let Colin know if you have any questions or suggestions at www.cigar.research@googlemail.com. Download the sheet here.

We started this adventure in April of 2005 not knowing if it would work or if anyone would listen. After many frustrating attempts doing the show from 1600 miles apart, we settled on SKYPE as our communication tool and Bob came up with the hardware plan that enabled us to get the show "on tape”
